Domenica sera e ancora sto caldo che non molla da settimane, sono uscito lo stesso col Monster giusto per sentire un po' d'aria mentre la citta si svuota piano piano verso le nove.Giro veloce fino ai Navigli, gente seduta fuori con lo spritz ma io preferisco il motore acceso e il vento, anche se e caldo pure quello onestamente.Torno verso casa che sono quasi le dieci e mezza e Milano sembra ancora addormentata per il caldo, il Monster tira sempre bene comunque.

Anoche, paseo maritimo de la Malvarrosa, sobre las once y ya sin apenas gente. Recta larga y perfecta, la 701 pidiendo guerra desde el primer semaforo.Primera, segunda, la rueda arriba mas tiempo del que pensaba aguantar. Un patinador que iba en direccion contraria se aparta de un salto y casi se cae el solo del susto, yo aguantando la risa dentro del casco.Bajo la rueda, freno suave, y el tio me levanta el pulgar como diciendo menuda locura pero bien hecho. Me quedo con esa cara suya el resto de la noche, mejor que cualquier aplauso de los colegas.

The towers are still lit up like a sci-fi movie set, but the lanes are empty - just you, the V4, and that warm desert air that never fully cools down even at night. I pulled into the ADNOC near Business Bay, helmet off, visor fogged from the temperature difference between the AC in my jacket liner and the outside heat.
