Yamaha XT500 1978

1978 XT500 that came to me as a rolling frame and two crates of parts from a guy in Barstow. Stripped the tank down to bare steel and left it that way, out here the sun cooks paint off anything sooner or later. Kickstart only, drums front and rear, nothing electronic to argue with on a Sunday. Runs knobbies because most of what I ride around Ridgecrest was never paved. Photo is out at the Trona Pinnacles, twenty minutes from the house and still the best place I know to sit and listen to nothing.
