First time over the mountain
Rode the Rebel all summer on flat roads around town and finally pointed it at the mountains. Left Portland early, climbed for what felt like forever and stopped twice just to look at things. Cold at the top, warm again by the time I was back down. Two photos, both taken standing next to the bike because I was too happy to think about angles.

Still under the clouds on the way up. Trucks everywhere and I did not care.
Other side of the pass. Same day, completely different weather.

You picked the right day for it. The other side of that pass is a completely different state, people never believe it until they ride over. First mountain run on a Rebel beats a lot of first runs on bigger bikes 👍
