Late Night Fuel Stop
There's something about 2 AM on Sheikh Zayed Road that makes you forget Dubai is a city of millions. The towers are still lit up like a sci-fi movie set, but the lanes are empty - just you, the V4, and that warm desert air that never fully cools down even at night. I pulled into the ADNOC near Business Bay, helmet off, visor fogged from the temperature difference between the AC in my jacket liner and the outside heat. Even in January it's still 22 degrees at night here.The guy behind the counter already knows my order. Karak chai and a Kit Kat. He doesn't even ask anymore, just nods when he sees the helmet.
