Honda CM400T 1980

1980 Honda CM400T. Paid $1,400 for it in Daly City, plus a ride back to BART because the seller felt bad about the brakes. Fixed the brakes.

Somebody before me rattle-canned the whole thing flat black, tank and side covers included, and it's chipping in all the right places, so that's the look now. The rear shocks with the red springs came with it, no idea what brand. Headers are rusting through the chrome, that's next.

395cc twin, Comstar wheels, about as fast as a Muni bus going downhill. Doesn't matter here. Every block is either straight up or straight down, and what I need is something that starts every morning and fits in the gaps between parked cars. It does both.

Learned hill starts on this thing in Bernal Heights. The clutch has opinions.

And yes, that curb is red. I was there for about four minutes to take the picture.
