Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address, username, and password (stored as a secure hash). If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account email and profile name โ we do not receive or store your Google password. You may optionally provide your location (city/country).
User Content: Photos, videos, text, and other materials you upload to the Platform are stored on our servers and third-party storage providers. This includes content posted on moto club walls. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload; RiderDNA acts only as a host and removes infringing content upon valid notice โ see our Terms of Service.
Club Membership: When you join, create, or interact with moto clubs, we store your membership status, role, and activity (wall posts, join requests). Club owners and admins can see the member list of their clubs.
Usage Data: We collect basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This data is used solely for security purposes and improving the Platform.
Device & Security Data: To protect the Platform from abuse and enforce account bans, we collect a browser fingerprint (a hash derived from your browser's technical characteristics such as screen resolution, timezone, and graphics capabilities) and a randomly generated device identifier stored in your browser. We also use your IP address to determine your approximate geographic location (country/city) via a local GeoIP database. This data is used exclusively for security and abuse prevention โ never for advertising or tracking.
Cookies & Local Storage: We use session cookies for authentication and "remember me" functionality. We use browser localStorage, IndexedDB, and Cache API to store your theme preferences (dark/light mode, color accent) and a device identifier for security purposes. These are strictly functional โ we do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies.
